Dr. Badour selected for BIRCWH Scholar's Program

Dr. Badour was recently selected to participate in UK's Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women's Health (BIRCWH) K12 program. The BIRCWH is a career development program funded by the National Institutes of Health to support junior investigators by providing training and protected time for research to advance research in the areas of women's health and sex differences. As part of the BIRCWH program, the STARRC team will be conducting a study to examine sex differences in the relationship between posttraumatic stress symptoms and non-medical prescription opioid use.
