Jessica Flores and Jordyn Tipsword Awarded Research Funding from the UK Office for Policy Studies on Violence Against Women

STARRC graduate students Jessica Flores and Jordyn Tipsword were selected to receive funding from the UK Office for Policy Studies on Violence Against Women to support their research. Jessica Flores was awarded the Georgia Davis Powers Graduate Fellowship to support her dissertation project: A culturally-sensitive model of the association between intimate partner violence and sexual outcomes in young adult Latinas. Jordyn Tipsword was awarded the Ashley T. Judd Research Assistantship to support an upcoming mentored research project: Examining the impact of sexual revictimization and trauma-related emotion on eating disorder symptoms among young adult women with a history of childhood sexual abuse.
