STARRC Welcomes Two Summer Research Fellows

We are lucky to have two summer fellows joining our team: Harry Hazelwood and Stephanie Lim:

Harry is a rising senior at Transylvania University who participated in the UK Summer Training in Alcohol Research (UK STAR), a competitive NIH-funded fellowship that supports undergraduate students to complete a 10-week intensive research internship in a lab conducting research focused on alcohol and it's effects.

Stephanie recently completed a master's degree in psychology at California State University, Sacramento. She comes to us by way of the California Pre-Doctoral Program as a Sally Casanova Scholar. This is a prestigious award designed to increase diversity in graduate education, supported Stephanie to complete a 10-week research fellowship at any degree-granting institution of her choice in the US. We are excited that Stephanie decided to join us at UK for this experience!
